A humanitarian worker by the name Inuwa shared an incredible story of survival after she was abducted and kept in captivity for 18 months by a brutal terrorist organization in the Lake Chad basin.
According to Jummai in an exclusive interview with HumAngle Abdulkareem Haruna in Maiduguri, it started when terrorists flagged the commercial vehicle she was alongside other commuters on the Maiduguri-Damaturu highway.
That was the beginning of a journey to captivity that would last for 545 days for Jummai.
