Adisu Abba, a 45-year-old mother of five from Dikwa, Borno State, Nigeria, was an aspiring midwife before conflict disrupted her life. During her three-year captivity by Boko Haram, she helped deliver five babies, a testament to her dedication despite dire circumstances.

In the #BIRBISHINRIKICI program, her story is shared, highlighting the challenges and significance of practicing midwifery under such conditions. The podcast is presented by Rukayya Saeed and created by a team including Sabiqah Bello, Aliyu Dahiru, Mu’azu Muhammad, Anthony Asemota, and Ahmad Salkida.
