COVID-19: Congo Brazzaville Records 191 Deaths, 14,113 Positive Cases

The epidemiological situation of the country indicates that there are currently 569 active cases under hospitalisation in the country.

One hundred and ninety-one persons have so far died as a result of COVID-19 infections in the Republic of Congo (Brazzaville).

According to official statistics released Monday, Sept. 20, a total of 14,113 infections have so far been recorded in the country, while 13,330 infected persons have been successfully treated.

The epidemiological situation of the country indicates that there are currently 569 active cases under hospitalisation in the country.

As concerns vaccination against the COVID-19, so far, 337,572 vaccine doses have been administered while 183,668 persons have received their doses of the vaccines. This number represents 5.2 per cent of the country’s population. 


The COVID-19 was brought into the country in March 2020 through a Franco-Congolese who had just returned from a mission in Holland passing through Paris, France.
