Bintu Suleiman, a 55-year-old mother and entrepreneur from Ngoshe, Borno State, Nigeria, was preparing for a Ramadan meal when insurgents attacked, setting her home ablaze. She and some of her children escaped to the forest; however, four family members remained unaccounted for, hiding in the mountains. Bintu currently finds refuge in a government primary school in Pulka, still searching for information about her missing children and grandchildren.

The #BIRBISHINRIKICI program highlights Bintu's plight and ongoing challenges after losing her home and being separated from her loved ones. The podcast, available on Apple, Spotify, and RSS, features contributions and coordination by Rukayya Saeed, Sabiqah Bello, Aliyu Dahiru, Mu’azu Muhammad, Anthony Asemota, and Ahmad Salkida.
