UN, Chad Hold Talks On Successful Transition

The details of the transition meeting are still hidden as of press time.

The United Nations in Chad on Monday, June 14, 2021, organised a high-level concertation meeting in favour of national reconciliation between the transitional government and the development partners in Chad.

The meeting was co-presided by the Chadian Minister of National Reconciliation and Dialogue, Acheik Ibn Oumar, and the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations system in Chad, Violet Kakyoya.

The main objective of the meeting was to coordinate the support of partners for a successful transition in Chad.
