Kaduna State Government Demolishes Venue Of Sex Party, Arrests Organisers
The Kaduna State Government has demolished Asher Hotel in Barnawa Kaduna South Local Government Area, the proposed venue for a sex party, scheduled for Dec. 27.
The police also confirmed the arrest of the promoters.
A staff member of Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority, said that the government ordered the action.
The worker, who asked not to be named, added that the hotel also contravened the COVID-19 guidelines.
The demolition took place a day after the police apprehended the organisers of the party.
Some youth had advertised the event where the participants were expected to be naked on the social media but the venue remained secret.
The advertisementt had requested interested participants to pay N2,000 (regular tickets), N5,000 (VIP), and N10,000 (VVIP) for admission.
Following the advert, the government and the police ordered an investigation for the location of the venue and arrest of the promoters.
Subsequently, the promoters discontinued with the arrangement but the authorities continued their search.
The police command spokesperson, ASP Muhammad Jalige, confirmed the arrest of the promoters and added: “ We are investigating those behind the sex party and will soon give details of our findings.”
