Kogi state – Time: 1:57 pm. LGA: Ankpa. Polling Unit Name: Abogede. Polling Unit Number: 1. Ballot boxes and ballot papers were destroyed by groups of angry voters. [Violence]

Abia state – Time: 2:42 pm. LGA: Isiala Ngwa South. Accreditation and voting began at 12 noon. The situation is rowdy. There’s no presence of security agencies and political party officers are fighting one another as they struggle to force the electorates to vote for their individual parties. [Violence]

Niger state – Time: 3:51 pm. LGA: Chanchaga. Polling Unit Name: Suleiman Pacita. Polling Unit Number: 26. During the vote counting, there was a fight between PDP and APC agents over ballot papers, which resulted in a violent confrontation. Security personnel are now on the ground to diffuse tensions. [Violence]

Kogi state – Time: 4:30 pm. LGA: Ankpa. Polling Unit Name: Ona Ogaji. Polling Unit Number: 1. Unknown thug attacked the PU and destroyed ballot papers during counting. [Violence]

FCT Abuja – LGA: Gwagwalada. Polling Unit Name: Zuba, Agora, Ministers. Time: 4:41 pm. Five thugs appeared at the polling unit with knives and machetes. They snatched the ballot box and began to run. Military men on duty ran after them and arrested them. The thugs were beaten up and taken to the barracks for further investigation. [Violence]

Kogi state – Time: 5:48 PM. LGA: Okehi. Polling Unit Name: Oboroke-Ihima. Polling Unit Number: 15. Thugs reportedly snatched and destroyed ballot boxes. [Violence]

Lagos state – LGA: Ojo. Polling Unit Number: 91. Time: 5:54 PM. Voting was disrupted by hoodlums just when counting was going to start. Voters dispersed and INEC staff were hurriedly taken to a hiding place with the boxes. [Violence]

Kano state – LGA: Albasu. Polling Unit Name. Primary school: 005. Polling Unit Number: 5. The election ended with violence as a result of ballot papers and boxes being destroyed. [Violence]

Rivers state – Time 6:10 pm. LGA: Obio Akpor LGA. Location: PU 043, Chinwota Open Space along John’s Ogbogoro Road. Voting finished peacefully and they started counting, starting from the presidential poll. Votes for the Labour Party were counted up to 117 when a vehicle stormed the venue and snatched the ballot boxes plus the INEC staff. Everybody ran away. [Violence]

Abia State – Polling Unit: Umuokoroala Okpuala. Polling unit no: 010 Incident: Everything was going fine and smoothly until a fight broke out and disrupted the voting process. [Violence]

Lagos state – Time: 5:15 pm. HumAngle confirmed that thugs attacked Owoseni, Ijaye, Branco, Owolabi, and Fadeyi streets in Oshodi, Lagos. They collected some of the ballot boxes containing papers already thumbprinted and set them ablaze. Normalcy returned as of the time of filing this. [Violence]

Kaduna state – Time: 4:47 pm. LGA: Kaduna North. Polling Unit: Gidan Mohammed Malumfashi. Polling Unit Code: 002. A hoodlum tried to disrupt the election process, but normalcy was soon restored. [Violence]

Kogi state – Reports on violent disturbances across multiple polling stations in Ayimba. [Violence]

Abuja – Tunga Maje Area. Thugs snatched election materials, causing INEC to suspend the election. [Violence]

Anambra state – Ayamelum community. Three BVAS devices were destroyed by thugs. INEC, however, replaced them and voting continued in the area. [Violence]

Edo state – Uwelu Primary School Polling Unit. Suspected thugs raid the unit and snatch the ballot boxes and ballot papers, eventually burning them. [Violence]

Rivers state – Time: 9:57 am. LGA: Obio-Akpor. Ward: 9 unit 15. Polling Unit: Open Space by Winner Chapel, Rumueme. Polling Unit Code: 32/15. When the INEC officials were told to upload the results, they refused, saying they should be allowed to go back to β€˜God knows where’. The voters disagreed. Immediately, some boys emerged, carried chairs, and beat one man who was recording live updates. The victim sustained several injuries. [Violence]

Rivers state – Obio/Akpor Ward: 9. Polling Unit: 72 Polling code: 32-15-09-072. Time: 3:30 pm. The INEC official refused to upload results, which caused a violent response as people suspected they had plans to change the results. [Violence]

Abia state – Time: 3:25 pm. LGA: Umuahia North. Polling unit: Nkwoegwu ward. Polling unit no: 002. Description: Voting is ongoing and there’s fighting. [Violence]

Kaduna state – Time: 3:51 pm. LGA: Sabon Gari LGA. Polling unit: Area C ABU/Opposite Maintenance Office. Polling unit: 013. Voting is ongoing and will soon end. The APC agent is seen trying to convince electors to vote for the party and get a 1,000 naira transfer. But the electorate refused. [Malpractice]

Sokoto state – Time: 3:30 pm. LGA: Wamakko. Polling Unit: 055. Ward: Arkilla, Opposite NDLEA. Voting has since commenced. But there is voter intimidation, poor coordination from the security agency, poor queue management, and the security agents are doing little to arrest the situation. [Malpractice]

Kaduna state – Time: 3:48 pm. LGA: Kudan. Polling Unit Name: Kofar Fada. Polling Unit Number: 15. While the election process seemed to be going on smoothly, at about 3:03 pm, APC agents were suspected to have been distributing food items such as rice and spaghetti to voters. [Malpractice]

Kaduna state – Time: 3:32 pm. LGA: Kaduna North. Polling Unit: Zakari road. Polling Unit Code: 046. There is secret election buying at the polling unit. [Malpractice]

Lagos state – Time: 3:34 PM. PU34, Ward 10, Muda Street, Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government Area. Gunshots as thugs attempt to disrupt the elections. [Violence]

Ebonyi state – LGA: Abakaliki. Ward: 5. Polling unit Name: Abakaliki. Polling unit No: Incident/description: Overzealous PDP party agent fighting to show old women where to vote. However, the situation has now calmed. There are quarrels and squabbles at intervals. [Violence]

Lagos state – Time: 3:09 PM. PU34, Ward 10, Muda Street, Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government Area. Violence as INEC officials move to end voting at 3:00 PM despite arriving at the polling unit at 1:00 PM. Two agents tried disrupting the voting process until a police van arrived to douse tension. [Violence]

Lagos state – 3:16 pm. Akerele, Surulere. Gunshots were fired at waiting voters causing them to scamper for safety. The presidential ballot box was stolen. [Violence]

Oyo state – Time: 2:25 pm. LGA: Ibadan South West. Polling Unit: Open Space, Onibonoje. Polling Unit Code: 038. The voting is still in progress. Some party thugs stormed the polling unit, but the security personnel were able to repel the attacks and restore calm. [Violence]

Borno state – Suspected Boko Haram insurgents launched two RPGs, one hitting opposite the AA Garba filling station and the second hitting the residential buildings close to Sabon Gari polling unit, Gwoza. [Violence]

Kogi state – Time: 9:36 am. LGA: Lokoja. Polling Unit name: Angwa-Jama. Violent clash recorded between APD and PDP supporters. [Violence]

Oyo state – Time: 2:19 pm. Angry youths attacked journalists and voters in the Liberty area of Ibadan, Oyo state capital. The youths were protesting hardship caused by the scarcity of fuel and naira notes. Security agents later intervened, urging them not to engage in acts that could derail the smooth conduct of the election. [Violence]

Abia state – LGA: Umuahia North. Polling unit: Afugiri Central School. Polling unit no: 011. Voting is still ongoing. People were seen sharing money through mobile transfers. [Malpractice]

Adamawa state – Time 1:55 pm. LGA: Yola North LGA. Ward: Karewa. Polling Unit: Government Day Secondary School Army Barracks. Polling Unit Code: 007. PDP agents are seen sharing biscuits to induce votes. [Malpractice]

Sokoto state – Time: 12:18 pm. LGA: Sokoto South. Polling Unit: Burtali. Polling unit code: 022. Ward: Gagi. There is chaos caused by thug activities, but the security personnel are trying to restore peace. [Violence]

Lagos state – 1:47 PM. Ikate Elegushi. Violent protests are going on in various areas of Ikate Elegushi, Lagos Island, as thugs prevent voters from casting their votes. Voting materials are yet to be available in various polling units in the area. [Violence]

Adamawa state – Time: 1:17 pm. LGA: Yola South LGA. Polling Unit: Wauro Jabbe Primary School. Polling Unit Code: 025. Party agents are seen canvassing for votes. [Malpractice]

Katsina state – Time: 1:17 pm. LGA: Sagbam. Ward 10. Polling Unit 1. EFCC arrests some persons because of voting buying.[Violence]

Delta state– Time: 1:17 pm. LGA: Sagbam. Ward 10. Polling Unit 1. EFCC arrests some persons because of voting buying.[Malpractice]

Bayelsa state – Time: 1:17 pm. LGA: Sagbam. Ward 10. Polling Unit 1. EFCC arrests some persons because of voting buying.[Malpractice]

Bayelsa state – LGA: Yenagoa. Ward 11. Polling unit: 073, 075. Street boys threaten and scatter the voting process. One of the boys was arrested at Polling Unit 073. [Violence]

Niger state – – in the morning – Shiroro LGA/Alawa community – Bandit attack in the community caused a delay in the voting process but security was eventually restored and voting is taking place, according to the INEC Chairman. [Violence]

Kogi state – Time: 1:03 pm. LGA: Adavi. Polling Unit: Ward 2, Inorere Ogaminana. Polling Unit Number: 12. The election is going on peacefully here but the agents are collecting people’s account numbers to transfer money to them if they vote for their candidate. [Malpractice]

Lagos state – PU67, Ward 5, Oluti Area, Amuwo Odofin LGA. Controversy as party agents engage in fight over vote lobbying. The Presiding Officer also threatened HumAngle reporter for taking shots of the chaos. No security official is present at the polling unit. [Violence]

Kogi state – Time: 12:33 pm. LGA: Koton Karfe. Polling Unit Name: Front of Ohimege Palace and Front of Prison, Koton Karfe. Top official of Koton Karfe Local Government sighted buying votes at the polling unit in front of Ohimege Palace. [Malpractice]

Zamfara state – Time: 11:56 am. LGA: Zurmi. Polling unit: Tsanu Town Primary School. Polling unit code: 016. Youth disrupted the election process in protest of unequal treatment in the supply of solar panels among villages of the ward. Armed policemen deployed to the scene eventually restored calm. [Violence]

Borno state – Vote-buying taking place. Party agents share wrappers and cash. [Malpractice]

Kogi state – Time 11:25 am: LGA: Dekina. Polling Unit: Udaba Dekina. Reports coming from the polling unit say ballot boxes and other materials have been destroyed. No elections are going on there now. [Violence]

Adamawa state – Time: 11:24. LGA: Yola North. Polling Unit: Jambutu Kofar Jauro. Polling Unit Code: 008. Description: APC agent shares food to influence voters. [Malpractice]

Niger state – 10:14 am. LGA: Paikoro. Ward: Sabo Unit. Polling Unit: U06. Inducement is suspected as a party agent interferes with voters’ choice. [Malpractice]

FCT Abuja – LGA: Municipal – Polling unit;. Kabusa LEA – Polling unit code: 001. Time : 9:18am Calm has been restored at this polling unit.[Violence]
